i awoke in a funk. 

i've had a cold. 

i'm bitter about winter.  

so is my skin.

(so is my entire body for that matter.) 

i twisted my ankle 14 days ago and i still can't point my toes. 

(i have a solitary cankle.)  

gas is $4/gallon. 

i am not in barbados. 

i have forgotten what it means to have a tan line.  

i haven't been climbing in almost a year. 

i miss my okies.
